Established in 1965 as a Guild of the Cookery and Food Association, the Craft Guild of Chefs has developed into the leading Chefs’ Association in theUKand has many members worldwide.
Our members come from all aspects of the foodservice and hospitality sectors working in a wide variety of positions from students and trainees to top management. No other association boasts such a broad and experienced membership.
Our aims and objectives

A family run business that was established in Portland Dorset in 1997. They moved to their current state of the art facility in 2006. They have customers based all over the UK but have a very strong presence in London and deliver there 3 times a week. They specialise in Crab, Lobster, Scallops and Langoustines, they have recently expanded their range to include Razor Clams, Cockles and Palourdes. Their Hand Picked Crab Meat is said by many to be the best available. They are EFSIS certified and undergo a 3rd party inspection to achieve this. Provenance, sustainability and traceability are extremely important to Portland as it is also important to their customers.

Welcome to the Crazy Baker a shop, cafe and an artisan bakery.
Founder Sophie Grey had already proved to be successful at combining her passion for beautiful food and excellent service through her thriving bespoke event catering company which she established in 1993. So the opening of The Crazy Baker in March 2009 combining its cafe and specialist bakery was a natural and welcome progression/expansion.Sophie’s artisan bakery prides itself on producing a superb selection of rustic homemade breads and as per the artisan name dictates the breads are all made using traditional techniques, fresh ingredients and without additives and preservatives. The bakery also produces pastries, cakes, granola and cookies which supply the three local Crazy Baker cafés and together with the catering requirements for Sophie Grey Events. Everything is baked or produced in the Crazy Baker kitchen on a daily basis with the freshest ingredients possible. In addition to this eggs are free range and where possible products are locally sourced.
Customers have a variety of means to enjoy the wide range of produce. They can opt for our home deli delivery service, purchase some fresh bread or cakes to take away or pop into one of our friendly cafes to relax over a freshly made croque monsieur and a steaming cup of coffee.
